TRASH & RECYCLING

Briarbend contracts privately for both trash and recycling services with Texas Pride Disposal. These services are paid for by the neighborhood dues collected each year.

For more information on Texas Pride Disposal including holiday service, please go to www.texaspridedisposal.com. In addition, if you have any problems with garbage collection, you can call Texas Pride Disposal at 281-342-8178 during normal business hours.

Basic Collection Guidelines

  • Please have your waste ready to be picked up no later than 6:00 am.
  • Trash pickup occurs bi-weekly on Wednesday and Saturday, subject to holidays.
  • Recycle pickup occurs weekly on Wednesday, subject to holidays.
  • Place waste in cans, bags, or bundles weighing no more than 50 pounds.
  • If using garbage cans, please use containers between 14 and 96 gallons. Please, no barrels or drums.
  • Please stack branches at the curb in individual piles no larger than 3 feet high by 3 feet wide by 3 feet long with the base of the branches facing the street. Although branches are not required to be tied and bundled, it is strongly encouraged.
  • Branches must be no thicker than 12″ in diameter to avoid damaging our equipment.
  • Per Federal law, items containing Freon must be completely drained and have an accompanying ticket verifying Freon has been drained.
